A Bright and Colorful Sample on a Rainy Day

Feels like Heaven

It has been a lovely week here at Petal Productions and several successful samples! Here are a few more images from this weeks' wedding samples:

This is a beautiful crystal chandelier incorporating balls of white roses and a base of white flowers all lit up wonderfully by lightly lit candles and set in a cloud of feathers. This centerpiece truly is a magical one.

Next up is a crystal candlebrum exploding with clusters of roses and hydrangeas and hot pink phalenopsis orchids cascading from the arrangement. We also set up an assortment of candles on the table and dressed the table in a glittery yet elegant linen that will slightly shimmer when a beautiful color highlight accents it.

Lastly, but certainly not least, this wedding sample created today was a perfect fit for the bride. They were in and out in just 10 minutes it was just that perfect! Deserving of a beautiful spring day, this centerpiece is made from flowers in all shades of pinks and a range of colors from red to burgundy. Set in a more unique and chic base, the design is finished off by a touch of delicate petals scattered atop the table cloth.

Driven by Music

Hello everyone! This morning we created a sample for a Bar Mitzvah to take place next month at Bet Breira. This centerpiece takes on a theme inspired by the beautiful and dramatic music and theme of Pianos. We will do two different looks, one for the adults' tables and one for the kids' tables, both using colors, elements and florals to match the theme. Here, we have the stunning centerpiece for the adults' tables which incorporates an assortment of our tall unique bubble bowl vases filled with silver flakes and topped with an array of purple calla lilies, purple tulips, and purple orchids for a beautiful textured look. Lastly, to complete this table design we placed the three vases inside of our square acrylic box up-lit from the bottom with a purple light and accent the piece with our silver balls lit up by glowing floating candles.

There are some Steelers fans here today!

It's Sample Wednesday here at Petal Productions and it has been a busy one. We're busing in football players for one Steeler themed bar mitzvah and bleeding orange and green for another bar mitzvah with a University of Miami theme.

We created this centerpiece using an iron-clad form set on a grass base. The helmut is being fitted and so could not make an appearance today. Please feel free to comment on what you think of our designs!

Aloha oukou!!

We want to shout out an exciting welcome back update for our team who just returned from a successful trip to Hawaii and to Petal Productions from a long overdue post to our blog!!

Our fabulous designers had the opportunity to accompany Koncept Events and Ariba for a corporate weekend event where Petal Productions created all the arrangements from the Welcoming Reception to the meetings and affairs that went from sunrise to sunset. Not only did we utilize the beautiful scenery and traditions that Hawaii has to offer, but we took advantage of what their landscape thrives with: bright, tropical plants, elements straight from nature like rock and sand, and aromas that release the pleasant feeling of relaxation. Even the girls from Koncept contributed on an outing to collect Volcanic rocks and other native fruits and flowers.

From the Lei's to the tiki torches and ukulele incorporated centerpieces, Petal Productions took on an all-inclusive access pass to Hawaiian Tradition and Lifestyle. Now that I have enticed you to consider a vacation of fun, relaxation and sun, I hope you stay tuned to the upcoming events Petal Productions will amaze you with!

American Cancer Society Host Annual Gala

This year marked the 8th Annual American Cancer Society Gala and it was more magnificent than ever. The theme was simply "White-Out Cancer" and was truly embraced by all of the attendees as Miami's socialites arrived at the affair dressed in elegant all-white formal attire. At this most memorable and noteworthy event, over $200,000 dollars were raised to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Reaching Out to Cancer Kids (R.O.C.K.) Programs.

For this particularly meaningful event, Petal Productions provided a full range of floral arrangements for the evening, decorating the entry way and ballroom in a most exquisite and stylish fashion. Guests got to enjoy the elegant décor along with a delicious dinner and joyful dancing as they bid on an array of fabulous items.

The American Cancer Society Gala is one of Miami's most celebrated events, and Petal Productions is honored to be able to contribute to this major Event.

More than 300 generous donors and important community leaders attended a spectacular fashion show at the very exclusive Indian Creek Country Club for the American Cancer Society Inner Circle of Twelve Luncheon.

The inner Circle recognizes twelve outstanding women for their leadership, volunteerism, community involvement and dedication to the American Cancer Society's Mission.

At his fabulous event Petal Productions produced a most spectacular and unique Floral Fashion Show, in coordination with the famous New York Designer Michael Volbracht.

The models, dressed in beautiful ensembles, presented to the guests a viewing of the Petal Productions 2010-2011 collection, with incredible and elegant center pieces and spectacular bouquets. As is custom for all major Fashion Shows, the finale presented the Bridal Party, with some unique pieces, including an oversized Bridal bouquet with real diamonds (valued at over $25,000) and a cute little 7-year-old flower girl, for whom Petal Productions created a unique dress covered with real flowers!

Loren and David

Loren and her family were one of the kindest and sweetest families that I have personally ever met, so it was an absolute honor to be able to be part of Loren and David's wedding October 24, 2009 at the Jungle Island.

Loren and David had such a beautiful wedding with so many unique elements that it would literally take days (and perhaps this whole blog!) to describe them all in detail. So let's first begin with the personal flowers. Loren wore a beautiful wedding dress with detailed lace, so it only seemed perfect for her to carry down the aisle a beautiful bouquet of soft blush roses and white roses hand tied with matching ribbon and details with pearls. David wore a coordinating boutonniere that include a single white rose with wire grass detailing. The bride's maids carried down the aisle a unique shade of pink calla lilies, and the groomsmen wore coordinating boutonnieres.

The ceremony was completely one of a kind. The entire ballroom was draped in white fabric and soft pink lighting. Down the aisle, we carefully placed an assortment of cylinder glass vases filled with waters and matching submerged flowers topped with brightly lit candles, that illuminate the aisle in that warm romantic glow that so many of us dream about. Arches also decorated the aisle, covered in assorted fichus greens and clusters of matching flowers in shades of soft pink and white. Up lights were also placed to highlight the arches. Now for the chupah: OMG WOW! Our design team took our classic 8x8 round dome chupah covered in greens and put it on steroids. The chupah legs where first covered in greens, and then completely covered in white and soft pink roses and hydrangeas and further accented with white curly willow branches to give the chupah a free form and natural feel. The top consisted of a canopy of white willow branches also decorated and further enhanced with matching white and pink flowers.

The ballroom, again: OMG WOW! The tables alternated between three different floral centerpieces. The first design was three tall cylinder vases grouped together with a single orchid droplet placed inside all three, and then topped with a full round arrangement of white and soft blush flowers. Around the base, we will place an assortment of brightly candles. For the second design, we took our clarinet stands, filled them with water a coordinating orchid, and topped those with a matching full arrangement of white and soft pink flowers. Also around the base we placed an assortment of brightly lit candles. The final (and certainly not least!) design was Petal Productions HP stands in gold. These stands included our almost 6 foot tall stands with several large ball like clusters placed on each arm of the stand, with the largest arrangement sitting at the very top. Further decorating the stand, we draped strands of crystals, and brightly lit hanging candles. Around the base, we created a matching base arrangement, and also placed clusters of brightly lit candles.

My favorite part of Loren and David's wedding was their beloved candy bar. For the candy bar, I personally made sure that all the candies were in shades of white and soft pink. I even was able to order them customized MnM's with their names and wedding date printed on them!

Andrew and Yaimet

On October 11, 2009, our personal and very dear friends Andrew and Yaimet tied the knot at the Diplomat Hotel. Petal Productions was honored to attend the wedding, as well as aid Andrew and Yaimet in creating their wedding decor.

For the ceremony, Petal Productions created our unique PJ ceremony tent which was softly created with flowing white fabric and a large floral arrangement. We set the structure outside facing the ocean, and you couldn't have asked for better weather in October. Yaimet carried down the aisle a beautiful bouquet of snow white calla lilies, while Andrew wore a matching boutonniere.

For the table centerpieces, Andrew and Yaimet kept it very elegant and simple, with three tall cylinder glass vases filled with water with a long and full stem of white cymbidium orchids with pink throats, topped with a brightly lit floating candle. Katie and Brian

After almost a wonderful year of planning with Petal Productions staff, Katie and Brian were married on October 11, 2009 at the Boca Raton Resort (http://www.bocaresort.com/). Katie wore a beautiful dress, and carried down the aisle a bouquet of soft baby pink roses with a touch of stephanotis studded with pearls, while Brian wore a boutonniere of matching stephanotis. The girls in the bridal party carried down a beautiful bouquet of purple vanda orchids looped with touches of wire grass and wrapped with coordinating ribbon.

For the ceremony, Katie and Brian said their "I do's" underneath Petal Productions classic 8x8 round dome shaped chupah that was covered in assorted greens, and further covered with beautiful lush hot pink and purple flowers. These flowers included hot pink roses, hot pink hydrangeas, lavender stock, and magenta toned phalenopsis orchids that cascading gently from the top of the chupah. The inside section of the chupah top was draped with an off-white fabric, and amber up lights where placed to illuminate the back wall of white fabric, as well of the chupah. Down the aisle, we coordinated the the aisle with single tier stands completely covered and connect with white organza, and matching nosegays that were created with the same floral and color theme as the chupah.

For the ballroom, Petal Productions decorated the table with a stunning centerpiece that included the tables alternating between our tall clarinet vases draped with four strands of crystals, and lower floral arrangements. For the clarinet vases, we placed on top each vase stunning free formed arrangement of hot pink and lavender flowers. Around the base of each table centerpiece we will placed an assortment of smaller cylinder vases filled with water, hot pink and purple rose petals, and brightly lit floating candles. The lower floral arrangements were designed inside a low glass vase with matching flowers in the same floral and color theme as the rest of the wedding reception dinner. For Katie and Brian's sweet heart table, we create a matching and coordinating table arrangement that cascaded onto the front of the table. Other items that we included for their wedding consisted of special up lighting that illuminate the ballroom, as well as draping the back wall to their hired band and illuminate that back wall of fabric with matching lights.

Holly and Noah

Holly and Noah were married August 8, 2009 at the Mayfair Hotel in Miami, FL (http://mayfairhotelandspa-px.trvlclick.com/index.cfm). Although they decided to get married in the heart of summer, Mother Nature was very gracious to them, and they couldn't have asked for better weather.

Holly and Noah were very lucky to have their ceremony outside. Petal Productions created a beautiful bamboo squared arch, decorated with cascading white fabric and snowy white phalenopsis orchids. Down the aisle we place a long white runner, with white rose petals sprinkled only on the side of the aisle. Along the sides of the aisle we placed our tall cylinder glass vases filled with water and a submerged floating stems of a white phalenopsis orchid studded with crystals.

For Holly's bridal bouquet, Petal Productions create a stunning bouquet of white hydrangeas, white roses and beautiful large blooms of white phalenopsis orchids, hand tied in a round design with a slight cascade of orchids. The bouquet was wrapped with matching white ribbon. Noah wore a coordinating boutonniere that included a smaller bloom of a white phalenopsis bloom. The rest of the girls in the bridal party carried down a bouquet of soft green hydrangeas and soft pink roses

The reception was a party to remember, and so was the decor. For each table centerpiece, Petal Productions placed our large two tone acrylic box , and filled the top half with no more than 1 inch of water with brightly lit floating candles. We then placed our iron wrought trees (painted black), with a base arrangement of white hydrangeas, and further enhanced the branches with black manzanita branches, hanging strands of crystals, cascading stems of white phalenopsis orchids, and brightly lit hanging candles. We also placed special LED lights underneath each table centerpieces that illuminated the tables from within.

Melissa and Zvi

Melissa and Zvi were married on a day that mother nature did not want to cooperate. Despite rain showers that unfortunately lasted for the majority of the later afternoon, the wedding was absolutely beautiful. They decided to host their wedding at the Hillcrest Country Club (http://www.hillcrestgcc.com/index.php) and celebrated with 200 of their closest friends and family members.

Melissa wore a stunning white dress of white satin and lace and styled her hair with her signature style: a crystal beaded headband. For her bouquet, we hand tied a bouquet of very perfumed white peonies and studded some of them with crystals. The bouquet was tied with a matching white satin ribbon and pinned off with crystals. The bride's maids and junior bride's maids carried a bouquet of hot pink roses wrapped in white ribbon and criss-crossed ballet style with hot pink ribbon. For Zvi's boutonniere, we took an un-open peonie bloom and styled it to match Melissa's bridal bouquet.

Badeken ceremony was a simple one, were we placed a large bridal chair for Melissa with other chairs flanked for friends and family members on either side. We created a back drop of white fabric that was decorated with hanging balls of hot pink carnations and strands of crystals

The chupah was not Melissa's first choice, because she had wanted the ceremony outdoors. Although the morning promised beautiful weather, mother nature had a different plan. As we were putting the finishing touches on to the chupah outside, the clouds got dark and it didn't stop raining until well into the evening. We had no other option then to move the chupah indoors. However, the design had to change to fit indoors. We took our 8x8 flat top square shaped chupah and created a truly gorgeous wall of front flowers that included hot pink peonies, hot pink roses, hot pink and white hydrangeas, and strands of cascading ivy. Inside the chupah we hung hot pink orchid droplets and hanging crystals designed at assortment lengths. Down the aisle we had out acrylic boxes draped in crystals and topped with an explosion of hot pink dendrobium orchids. A runner and petals was all that was needed to finish Plan B.

Once the ceremony was over, we rushed to change over the room. Although it wasn't planned to leave the chupah in the ballroom, we decided that it made a lovely presentation for the cake, and made a last minute decision to leave the chupah standing over the cake. The table were moved into place in record timing. Each table alternated between our wrought iron trees painted in white with clusters of hot pink flowers, crystals, and hanging candles and two different designs that involved glass vases. The first glass vase look include a tall vase topped with a hot pink ball of carnations and surrounded by two medium height vases and two smaller height vases decorated with hot pink hydrangeas and hot pink roses tied in tight bouquets and placed at sharp and modern angles. The other glass centerpiece included an assortment of clear glass vases designed with matching hot pink and white flowers. All three looks incorporate tons of brightly lit candles to illuminate the tables in a soft romantic glow.

Although the weather didn't allow Melissa and Zvi to celebrate outdoors and many elements were added last minute to negotiate with mother nature's poor attitude that day, the wedding itself was absolutely lovely!

The Philosophe's 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Philosophe celebrated their golden 50th wedding anniversary on the eve of their son Patrick's and future daughter in law Jassi's wedding day (Which we will be posting pictures and more from the event soon!!)

They decided to celebrate with close friends and family members at the Aqualina Hotel (http://www.acqualinaresort.com/) on their outside lawn area where the Aqualina provided a tent. Petal Productions draped the entire tent with gold fabric, and we also hung one of a kind chandeliers to really create a ballroom atmosphere inside the tent.

Each table was designed with gold in mind. We filled up round glass vases with flakes of gold and topped the vases with bright yellow cymbidium orchids intertwine and looped with dark purple leather leaf. Around each round glass vase we had three smaller and thinner rectangle vases filled with looped mango calla lilies, and an assortment of brightly lit candles that ranged from floating to gold votive candles.

Marissa and Daniel

Marissa and Daniel were married on June 23, 2009 at the gorgeous Loews Hotel in South Beach, FL (http://www.loewshotel.com/). With over 500 invited guests and a lot of help from their wedding planner Stephanie Esquenazi, the Loews was a perfect place to help define and create that perfect dream into reality.

The first part of their wedding consisted of the Badeken ceremony. For Marissa’s Badeken ceremony, we placed a riser and covered it in white fabric and created a hedge of white flowers. On top of the

stage, we placed a modern single seated couch for Marrisa with additional seating of regular ballroom chairs. The wall behind the stage was a wall of white fabric dripping with strands of crystals. Hot pink up lights were placed behind to illuminate the area.

The second element to Marissa and Daniel’s wedding was the Chupah and everyone that walked in gasped in complete awe. Each chupah leg consisted of a wrought iron structure designed to resemble a tree. Each chupah leg was then completely covered orchids and a base arrangement of white hydrangeas. To keep with Chupah traditions, we placed a cascading organza fabric and suspended the fabric in the center of the chupah. Behind the chupah we placed a free standing wall of white fabric and hung orchid blooms to enhance the wall. Special up lights were placed on the chupah and along the back wall, as well as some intelligent lighting that also include a custom gobo of Marissa and Daniel’s monogram. Down the aisle an extra long and custom white carpet runner with white rose petals on the side and custom white boxes were placed and completely filled with white hydrangeas and white dendrobium orchids. Every 6 feet, we placed a tall cylinder glass vase with a brightly lit candle to illuminate the aisle. And the last but very not least detail of this Chupah area consisted of the entrance wall of white fabric that was decorated with white dendrobium orchid leis, and opened and closed as Marissa, Daniel, and their wedding party began to walk down the aisle.

No wedding ceremony would be complete without the bridal bouquet and other personal flowers. Each girl, carried a bouquet of white roses and hot pink mokara orchids wrapped in white ribbon with hot pink ribbon as an accent and wrapped around in the ballet slipper design. Marissa’s bridal bouquet was a large, clean and elegant bouquet of white roses, white hydrangeas and white mini calla lilies wrapped in white ribbon and studded with pearls.

The place card table consisted of two rectangle table with a round table placed between the two. The two rectangle tables were embellished with hot pink roses topped with a custom glass table top where the place card envelopes were placed. The center table was decorated with a spiral stand also covered in hot flowers that included hot pink roses, hot pink peonies, hot pink vanda orchids, hot pink hydrangeas, and hot pink phalenopsis orchids (phew!).

The Loews pulled back the air walls that divided the grand ballroom into the three sections needed for the wedding. As the air walls were pulled back, the chupah was broken down and each leg was placed as an individual tree on both sides of the dance floor and either side of the band stage. The tables were pulled out of the third section of the ballroom were they had been hidden and placed in their designated area for the reception dinner. Hence, this is where the third and final element to Marissa and Daniel’s dream wedding comes to play. Each table centerpiece was designed to match the entire theme of the wedding. The tables alternated between our wrought iron tree-like structures completely covered in wire grass and decorated with either dendrobium orchids or white phalenopsis orchids. Each "tree" sat on a bed of white hydrangeas and cylinder glass vases filled with an assortment of pillar candles. Once the tables were in their place, we placed a special wireless LED light that illuminated the tables from within. For Marissa and Daniel’s sweet heart table, we placed a cascading arrangement of only white phalenopsis orchids and brightly lit candles. A special LED light was also placed underneath their table.

Placed along the center of the dance floor we placed a mechitzah that was designed for Marissa and Daniel with an extremely modern concept. The mechitzah was divided into four parts and each section was built identically the same. The top and bottom parts of the structure were completely covered in white hydrangeas and white dendrobium orchids. Connecting the top and bottom were white cymbidium orchid blooms strung with very thin silver wiring to give the impression that the orchid blooms where floating in midair. Intelligent lighting changed throughout the evening with the music that was played by their band, and custom gobo’s were placed around the ballroom. Towards the end of the evening, as the guest left to go home after a wild night of dancing, a custom gobo read “Thank you for joining us, Marissa and Daniel”

Placed along the center of the dance floor we placed a mechitzah that was designed for Marissa and Daniel with an extremely modern concept. The mechitzah was divided into four parts and each section was built identically the same. The top and bottom parts of the structure were completely covered in white hydrangeas and white dendrobium orchids. Connecting the top and bottom were white cymbidium orchid blooms strung with very thin silver wiring to give the impression that the orchid blooms where floating in midair. Intelligent lighting changed throughout the evening with the music that was played by their band, and custom gobo’s were placed around the ballroom. Towards the end of the evening, as the guest left to go home after a wild night of dancing, a custom gobo read “Thank you for joining us, Marissa and Daniel”

Marissa’s dream wedding culminated in one spectacular evening of fine wine, amazing cuisine, addictive music and incomparable floral décor. A large and very special mazel-tov to not only the bride and groom but their parents and family as well!

Elena and Andrew

When I personally think of the color combination of hot pink, orange and green I honestly cannot help but smile. So when Elena and Andrew decided and agreed on this color theme, everyone here at Petal Productions couldn't wait to create this beautiful wedding for them. Elena and Andrew were married on May 24, 2009 at the beautiful and lush Jungle Island in Miami, Florida (http://www.jungleisland.com/). And, as you can tell, they had that vibrant hot pink, bright orange, and lime green color theme. And I don't think Andrew honestly minded the hot pink, as long as the University of Miami colors (orange and green) were in the mix!

For Elena bridal bouquet, we create a large round bouquet of hot pink and bright orange roses studded with crystals and added small floral lime green buttons into the bouquet to bring all the colors together. We wrapped with bouquet with fabric designed to match Elena's dress so it couldn't clash together. Andrews boutonniere was designed slightly different from all the others, and for his boutonniere we took an bright orange rose with a lime green floral button and studded the button with matching crystals to match Elena's bouquet. The other girls and boys had similar bouquet and boutonnieres, but no crystals. That was reserved for the bride and groom only!

Elena and Andrew had planned for an outdoor ceremony, but unfortunately, mother nature did not agree. So we created a beautiful indoor ceremony with one of Petal Productions favorite chupahs. We took our four tall and square shaped acrylic chupah legs and create a stunning white fabric top with a rim of hot pink hydrangeas. Hanging inside from the chupah top, we hung bright orange and hot fuchsia orchid droplets and hanging strands of crystals. The back wall of fabric placed behind the chupah was also draped with not only white fabric, but assortment of crystals. Hot pink LED lights was all that was needed for this chupah. Along the side of the aisle, we covered out white acrylic pedestals with soft and cascading white organza, and on top of each pedestal we place three white cylinder vases with a ball or soft peach, hot orange and lime green roses. A white satin fabric runner and rose petals added the finishing touch for a beautiful ceremony. But no ceremony would be truly complete without a grand entrance, and that's exactly what we created. We draped the back entrance wall with matching white fabric, and covered our iron gates with the same fabric. The iron gates strategically opened and closed as Andrew, Elena and their bridal party entered the room and walked down the aisle. And Elena grand entrance was a perfect one (as you can clearly see from the picture of the two little boys with the banner)

The ballroom at Jungle Island is extremely neutral to any color combination, and this ballroom looked amazing. Petal Productions draped with entire ceiling with soft white fabric. Each table centerpiece include our clear coned shaped vase with a full round arrangement of peach tone, orange tone, hot pink tone, and lime green toned roses with touches of lime green buttons. Inside each vase, we submerged a fuchsia toned orchids and draped the vases with crystals. Around the base of each vase, we kept it simple and placed an assortment of pillar candles and clusters of votive candles. And to create an extra special touch, underneath each table, we placed a battery operated LED light that glowed in that hot fluorescent pink that Elena really adored.

Elena and Andrew, again a great big Mazel-Tov and we hope to celebrate a bar/bat-mitzvah in the next 13 (or 14) years from now!

David and Ilana's B'nai Mitzvah

David and Ilana celebrated their three day B'nai Mitzvah at the Diplomat Hotel (http://www.diplomatresort.com/). Stephanie Esquenazi was there every step of the way to make sure that these young adults had the perfect experience.

The first day really celebrated David. The color theme for his luncheon were bright shades of yellow, blue and green. Each table included a very funky and swirled pattern table linen in those shades of colors. For the floral arrangements, Petal Productions around 6 assorted height cylinder vases and filled them with green colored water. Each vase was further accented with a monochromatic arrangement of either blue and white hydrangeas, yellow mini calla lilies, lime green roses, vibrant yellow roses, and yellow french tulips.

The second day celebrated both David and Ilana. And the themed that they choose couldn't have been better or more creative. Their theme was "Life is Good" and we had a blast with it! We made an assortment of different posters and signs with a variety of "Life is Good" quotes and images. We placed these signs around the cocktail hour and used the signs as large and custom backdrop behind the bar area. The entire ballroom was draped with crushed satin orange fabric with an intelligent lighting package that projected an assortment of lights and designs. We also created custom acrylic round bar with a custom piece that was glued onto either sides of the bar. The bar was divided by the custom back drop and where as one side was for the adults, the other was themed for David, Ilana and their friends to create snow cones and other yummy kid friendly drinks. We also placed in their designated area a cool and funky lounge set that really coordinated perfectly with their mutual color theme. This lounge area was placed on top of a riser and include matching yellow, orange and brown pillows. A custom gobo was project through out the evening with a custom monogram of David and Ilana's name and "Life is Good" themed characters.

For the adult table floral arrangements, we placed long rectangle tables with white linens and placed large pieces of drift wood, and decorate them with green hydrangeas, yellow and orange penne orchids, yellow and orange cymbidium orchids, red pin cushions, yellow and mango calla lilies, orange circus roses, and yellow roses. We created matching and smaller pieces of drift wood for David and Ilana's young adult table, that consisted of high and low cocktail tables and dressed with chocolate and orange linens.

The last and final day of the weekend celebration was all about Ilana. For the table centerpieces, Ilana choose a cake centerpiece, each sitting on top of a custom cake box covered in green floral buttons. Each cake was decorated differently but kept with the hot pink, yellow, orange and green color theme.

Staci and Alan

Martina Comey from M&L Occasions (http://www.mandloccasions.com/) and Petal Productions came together to create an extremely beautiful and fairy tale wedding for Staci and Alan at the Aventura Turnberry Fairmont Hotel (http://www.fairmont.com/Turnberryisle). Despite the weather threatening throughout the day, Staci and Alan had nothing to worry about with Martina, the Petal Production team and Annette Winkler (lead coordinator and head of catering at the Turnberry Fairmont).

Staci was one of those brides that could have gotten married in jeans and cotton shirt and still look gorgeous. After months of looking for a make up artist, Staci found the perfect person for her, and really looked like the picture perfect bride. Staci looked stunning in her beautiful wedding dress. The beading and design fit her perfectly! For her bridal bouquet, we created a round bouquet of ivory roses, white peonies, and touches of stephanotis studded with pearls. Alan wore a boutonniere of stephanotis that was designed to match Staci's bridal bouquet.

Staci and Alan said their "I do's" underneath one of my favorite chupahs. This chupah was placed on top of a covered stage and consisted of the curly willow design mixed with thick pieces of ghost wood that was placed for the chupah top. To further enhance the chupah, we added thick white floral clusters in the same floral theme as the rest of the wedding, and we also placed amber up lights that really just illuminated the chupah. Down the aisle, we placed a white runner with white petals, and we placed our unique white acrylic boxes that were filled with white hydrangeas, white dendrobium orchids and white peonies. Each box had an explosion of curly willow branches that pulled the entire look for the ceremony together.

The ballroom was absolutely spectacular. There is something so clean and elegant about all white weddings, it's hard not to fall in love with all white wedding designs. Staci choose her floral arrangements with our clarinet vase dripping with strands of crystals and a free formed white floral arrangement of white flowers. These flowers included white hydrangeas, white cymbidium orchids, white peonies, white tulips and so many more stunning white flowers. Around the base we kept things a little bit more modern, and placed an assortment of glass vases with a monochromatic arrangement of white flowers designed at slight angles. Of course no table would be complete without brightly lit candles! The table linens where the white pleated organza provided by Nuage Designs.

Because the ballroom at Turnberry Fairmont is so beautiful, all that was needed was a white wall of fabric behind the band (just to block the kitchen doors) and amber up lights! Staci and Alan did decide on having pieces of lounge furniture placed around the dance floor, which was great for their guest to sit on as they had their first dance as man and wife.

Hey there!
So we have been busy busy busy with lots of great and wonderful events the last several weeks.

I was blessed to produce a very special corporate event in Orlando this year and am very happy to announce that it was a huge success!! We are anticipating the pictures from the event shortly, and once they come in I'll be sure to post them here!

In the meantime, just to keep everyone on their toes, I've been doing a little extra something special for Petal Productions.

A lot of the pictures might look familiar, but I was also able to include some pictures from past events that we have done before the blog!

Rina and Jeff

Rina was probably one of the nicest people that we have ever met here at Petal Productions. When she had called and told us she and Jeff were getting married at Temple Emanuel, (http://www.tesobe.org/) we couldn't have been more excited. Temple Emanuel is famously known for it's absolute gorgeous synagogue, so Petal Productions created a beautiful and classic chupah that fit nicely in the sanctuary as well as matching Rina's elegant and classic grace. We took our 8x8 white fabric chupah and created a front wall of stunning white flowers. To make their ceremony more unique we placed two large matching arrangements of white flowers on either side of the chupah's back legs and illuminate the chupah in amber up lights. Down the aisle we placed our classic three tier stand with candles. Temple Emanuel has an extremely long aisle, so we shorten it up a bit by placing trees along the last needed row of chairs.
Rina kept the theme of classic and carried down a bouquet of snow white and extremely fluffy hydrangeas accented with matching white roses. We wrapped the bouquet with matching white ribbon. Jeff wore a matching boutonniere of white dendrobium orchids. Rina's bride's maid all wore matching champagne dresses and held bouquets of matching white flowers that include hydrangeas, white stock and roses.
The ballroom at Temple Emanuel was draped from floor to ceiling with soft white organza and glowed with amber up lights. (I must say, that those up lights really can create that romantic glow that so many brides want.) For the table centerpieces, we placed our tall cone shaped vases filled with water and three matching white dendrobium orchid stems submerged inside. On top of the vase, we placed a full free formed arrangements of white flower like hydrangeas, roses, white wax and touches of white dendrobium orchids. We also include greens and touches of green hypercarium. Around the base of the cone vase we placed three brightly lit votive candles as well as three smaller vases filled with clear gels and matching white flowers.

Stefanie and Isaac

This wedding was an extremely special one to Petal Productions because we had done Stefanie's cousins (Jessica and Erica) wedding as well. So when it came time for Stefanie, we were thrilled and extremely thankful for the opportunity.
Stefanie and Isaac decided to get married at the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center (http://www.atjc.org/Aventura_Turnberry_Jewish_Center/Enter.html) and was catered by Events by Premier and coordinated by Stephanie Esquenazi from D'event. Stefanie carried down the aisle a stunning bouquet of white phalenopsis orchids and wild strands of crystal. It was a perfect bouquet for Stefanie and her amazing dress
The synagogue at Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center is one of the most stunning and breath taking synagogues I've ever seen (and I've seen plenty). Stefanie's chupah was designed with this synagogue in mind, so we created something extremely one of a kind. The top of the chupah consisted of a unique oval shaped design that resembled a lamp shade. The top part we covered with a ring of white flowers, with crystal cascading down to the bottom part, that also had a ring of white flowers. The legs were fabric and 10 feet tall! The legs also had floral arrangements and strands of crystal. Behind the chupha we placed chupah wings and back wall that ALSO had hanging strands of crystal. The table underneath the chupah was provided by Petal Productions, and this include our acrylic table box with a box of roses placed inside the table. No joke, this chupah was a beauty and a beast all rolled into one.
The place card table was also a wonderful creation. We placed a total of three table, one round table and two long rectangle table placed on either side. On the center round table, we place a fountain filled with cascading white flowers. On either ends of the rectangle tables, we placed two working water fountains.
The ballroom...well in one word....WOW.
The tables were majority all square with a hand full of rectangle tables. Every other table alternated between a clarinet vase with strands of crystals with a tight arrangements of white flowers, our acrylic box draped with crystals with our crystal candelabra placed on top of the box with a large arrangements of white flowers, and last but not least our acrylic canopy arrangements. The acrylic canopy arrangement consists of three different sections put together to create something amazing. The top canopy part had hanging balls of matching white and peach toned flowers and hanging candles and crystals. The mid section consisted of a long acrylic tube, with a ring of flowers and candles, and the bottom box piece was draped with crystals and matching ring of white flowers.
The entire ball room was unique and the layout was different from previous weddings and events that we have done. Instead of using the existing band stage and dance floor, we covered that area with white fabric and placed a white dance floor in the center of the room with a stage for Music Machine (http://musicmachineflorida.com/). The entire room was draped in white fabric, and the ceiling was draped in a classic pinwheel design. In the center of the drape we hung floral balls of matching flowers. A custom monogram was also projected throughout the evening onto the dance floor. To top it all off, we place a white acrylic bar that was illuminated from within on the opposite side of the band stage. Behind this amazing long bar, we placed book shelves that were decorated with assorted silver vases filled with flowers, candles and liquor bottles (kosher of course!)

There were so many elements to this wedding, and thanks to the Petal Productions design team, Steve and his staff at Events by Premier and Stephanie Esquenazi, we were all able to come together and create such a beautiful and wonderful wedding for Stefanie and Isaac.

Lauren and Adam

Lauren and Adam were married on March 14, 2009 at the Diplomat Country Club (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/luxury/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1401) in Aventura Florida. Martina Comey from MandL Occasions (http://www.mandloccasions.com/)was there with us as the day of coordinator, and as always, everything went smoothly thanks to her expertise.
Despite a little rain in the morning, the weather was absolutely gorgeous! The chupah was outside near the fountain and Lauren decided on our classic round dome chupah covered in assorted greens and decorated with matching white flowers. Lauren didn't want any roses, so instead we used white dendrobium orchids, white hydrangeas, and white wax. Down the aisle we place our three tier stand covered in matching fichus cuttings and white flowers. On top of each tier we placed a glass vase with a pillar candle. A white runner covered in white rose petals was the last and final touch that was needed for the ceremony.

Lauren carried down the aisle and stunning bouquet that was hand tied with white phalenopsis orchid, lilac, and white tulips. This bouquet was truly amazing and might have taken the number one spot as far as bridal bouquets go. The original bouquet was wrapped with white ribbon, and before Lauren walked down the aisle, we re-wrapped the bouquet with a sheer gold ribbon.
The ballroom at the Diplomat Country Club is one of my favorite ballroom in the entire state of Florida. There is something so special about this room...maybe it's the view of the golf course (and let me tell you this year the bougainvillea was WOW), but it's a room that goes well with every color theme, every floral theme, and every event. For Lauren and Adam, they decided on Petal Productions 16 arm candelabra with a large arrangements of only white flowers. Again, we used no roses. On every other candelabra arm, we alternated between a pillar candle and small floral arrangement. Around the base we created a matching arrangement, and we used our custom candle numbers instead of paper table numbers. Up lights and pin spots were all that was needed to finish the overall look for their wedding.

Linda and Mark

First I want to start by saying the biggest congratulations of them all to Linda and Mark!
Linda from MandL Occasions (http://www.mandloccasions.com/) married Mark on Feb. 21, 2009 at the Coral Ridge Country Club in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (http://www.coralridgecc.com/). They decided to keep things private and intimate with 36 of the closest friends and family members. Linda looked AMAZING in a beautiful and flowing white gown. For her bridal bouquet, she decided on a bouquet of only white cymbidium orchids with pink throats. Mark and his son (and best man) Tommy wore a matching boutonniere of a white dendrobium orchid.

Linda and Mark said "I do" underneath our classic bamboo chupah. This chupah consisted of four chupah legs covered in a light stain bamboo. We completely covered the top with cascading white organza. On the front to corners of the chupah we place a cascading arrangements of white and green flowers such as white phalenopsis orchids, green hanging amaranths, and white dendrobium orchids. Around the base, we placed our white acrylic boxes that also spilled matching green and white flowers. Amber up lights and a stunning sunset were the final touches to illuminate the chupah in that warm and romantic glow.
Linda kept the tables really simple but in fun purple and hot pink colors. We placed a square glass vase filled with vibrant purple gel beads, and the arrangements was a loose hand tied arrangements of hot pink and purple tulips, and roses, purple delphinium and just a touch of purple hydrangeas. On each napkin we place a matching rose and votive candles were the last detail to really make the tables beautiful and simple all at the same time.

Linda and Mark, we all congratulate you and as a personal good friend of mine I couldn't be happier for you both!! Mazel-Tov!

Diana and Richard

Before Diana and Richard were married at the J.W.Mariott in Downtown Miami they began their marriage celebration with a gorgeous hennah party at Jungle Island (http://jungleisland.com/. We decorated their outside pavilion area with custom jewel tone fabric panels that were hung from the trees. We also create a special tent like area that we up lit with hot pink LED lights. We provided all the hennah themed furniture that was placed around the area, as well as the table decor, that alternated between miniature camels, hookah pipes, and middle eastern themed lanterns. We also placed along the table an assortment of dried fruits and nuts. The entire evening was set at the PERFECT temperature (despite the 3 second threat of rain).
Diana and Richard were entertained the entire night with belly dancers, live camels, and great music.

Their wedding day two days later at the J.W. Marriott (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/miajw-jw-marriott-hotel-miami/), was truly magical and romantic in every way.
Diana looked stunning in a gorgeous gown that matched her petite frame. Her bridal bouquet was designed in our popular Nikki Bouquet design with white cymbidium orchids with pink throats. Richard wore a matching white calla lily boutonniere that was designed slightly different from the other groomsmen. Both bride and groom were glowing, and I must say that I believe that Richard was more nervous than Diana!
The place card arrangement was truly a unique design. We took our new Acrylic Canopy stands and placed it on top of a custom acrylic table. Inside the table, we had an arrangement of boxwood greens decorated with white dendrobium orchids. The canopy top of decorated with assorted strands of crystals and orchid leis. We hung white ribbon and attached the place card envelopes with miniature cloths pins.
For their chupah, we kept a classic yet modern design. The chupah was designed larger than our standard 8'x8' which worked perfectly for the amount of family members that stood underneath with Diana and Richard. White organza covered the structure with a front wall and side wall of only white flowers. Down the aisle, we placed our large birch trees that cascade crystals and white orchid leis. Special red up lights were placed on the chupah and down the aisle. Normally we would use amber, but the red just gave the entire look a modern pop.
For the reception dinner, Diana and Richard kept a very classic arrangement, which include our tall cone shaped vases draped with strands of crystals and a free formed arrangements of only white flowers. Along the base we created "pie-shaped" arrangements that slightly climbed the base of the vases. We also placed an assortment of candles to illuminate the table. The tables were dresses with a beautiful silver overlay that was provided by Over the Top Linens.
Diana, Richard and their entire family were a very special family to Petal Productions, and we would just like to say we only wish the very best for all of them!

Kristen and Mathew

Kristen and Mathew said their "I do's" at the absolute gorgeous Biltmore Hotel (http://www.biltmorehotel.com/) on January 24, 2009.

Kristen went for fun and vibrant shades of hot pink, dark purple,lime greens with deep gold accents. This color theme can't help but put a big smile on your face. It's not only a great color combination (believe it or not) but it's a BRIGHT and HAPPY color combination and works amazingly well for weddings. Plus, this color theme fit perfectly Kristen and Mathew's personality.

For the ceremony, we kept things very simple, and decorated the area by starting and ending the aisle with extremely large floral arrangements designed inside classic stone urns. We also place large urns filled with a similar arrangement around the ceremony stage. The flowers include a classic arrangement of hot pink roses, lime green roses, deep purple hydrangeas, purple stems of calla lilies and an explosion of gold manzanita branches. The manzanita branches were really able to put the whole color theme together, as well give the overall final touch of that deep gold. Cylinder vases filled with hot pink rose petals placed around the border of the stage and a long white runner with a sprinkle of hot pink rose petals was the final touch to this vibrant ceremony.

The ballroom was spectacular!! Deep purple up lights illuminate the ballroom in a midnight wedding glow and the table centerpieces were breath-taking. Kristen and Mathew decided to do long royal tables instead of classic rounds. For each royal table, we created a table scape that include two tall clarinet vases placed on either side of the tables filled with monochromatic bouquets of individual flowers placed at modern and sharp angles. We also incorporated tall pieces of gold manzanita branches and a single long stem of a hot pink phalenopsis orchid stem. Inside the vase itself, we filled them with water and submerged purple vanda orchids to fill in the space and cover the stems of the other floral bouquets. In between each vase, we created a table scape that include custom acrylic boxes each filled with hot pink, deep purple, lavender and lime green flowers all designed monochromatic and extremely chic. Brightly lit candles also dressed the table to illuminate the arrangement in that soft romantic glow. We continued to keep things chic and modern with assorted lounge like ottoman tables placed around the dance floor area that acted as the finishing touch for the exquisite Country Club Ballroom.

Last but not least, Kristen bridal bouquet. It was a stunning round bouquet that was made up of bright fuchsia roses with touches of white stephanotis studded with pearls and crystals. It was a beautiful bouquet that was able to capture not only the vibrant color theme, but it was a perfect bouquet for Kristen as well.

Ursula and Eddie

Our beloved Ursula FINALLY married Eddie at the Colonnade Hotel in Coral Gables, FL (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1794)

Ursula had worked here at Petal Productions, and I was so lucky to have had her by my side when I first started here 3 years ago. So when it came to her special day, we made sure that it was her dream come true.

Ursula decided on the colors red, red and red. Her dress was an amazing creation that really just made her look like the picture perfect bride. Naturally, because her colors where red, red and red, her bridal bouquet was hand tied with only the most perfectly blossomed red roses studded with crystals and wrapped in a white satin with a special crystal beading band wrapped at the top and bottom of the bouquet stems.

The ballroom at the Colonnade is already a very unique and picture perfect venue. We've done this room many times in many different styles. But I have to say, looking at theses pictures, I don't think I've ever seen this area as romantic or dramatic as I had seen it for Ursula's wedding.

The tables alternated between our signature tulip stands, our spiral stands and our new tree design. Each table centerpiece include hundreds of stunning red roses, brightly lit hanging candles, and assorted strands of crystals. The lighting that Ursula had chosen consisted of the deep red up lights, and theatrical pin spot that really highlighted and accented the table centerpiece. Ursula was extremely creative and used pictures of her adorable pup as the table numbers. I must say that he should maybe get his own book or even calendar with those pictures. They were so unique and adorable! How did you ever get those shots?!

The most unique and stunning element to the wedding (other than Ursula herself) was her place card table arrangement, which we later moved during the reception dinner to the desert area. This incredible iron wrought tree like structure was COMPLETELY covered in strands of crystals. It glimmered and glammed the entire evening as a place card table and dessert table spectacular creation.

Ursula and Eddie we couldn't be happier for you both!!!

Sari and Salo

Sari and Salo celebrated their grand wedding at the Biltmore Hotel (http://www.biltmorehotel.com/) that was coordinated by Stephanie Esquenazi from D'event.

Sari wore a beautiful gown that fit her petite frame. So naturally we created a bouquet that would match her and her bridal gown. This bouquet was a tight hand tied bouquet of white roses, white dendrobium orchids, white mini calla lilies, white mini hydrangeas, and white stock.

For the chupah, Petal Productions create a tall and round dome shaped chupah, with a extremely thick halo of white flowers. We dramatically swagged the fabric, and tied it back with matching large floral nosegays on to the chupah legs. Amber up lights illuminate the chupah in a warm and theatrical glow. Down the aisle, we placed arches and our white boxes spilling with matching flowers and candles. We decorated the back wall by cascading white organza intricately and creatively, and this wall opened and closed as Sari, Salo and their bridal party began to walk down the aisle.

The country club ballroom where the reception dinner was held was dramatic as well. Inspired by several photos and books, Sari choose to dress the tables in a soft sage satin underlay and as the overlay she choose the Battenburg lace pattern. We then alternated the tables between a low glass dish spilling with matching white flowers, our classic crystal candelabras with a large ball of white flowers and our 6' tall candelabras COMPLETELY covered in white flowers with (battery operated) taper candles. We further extended the room by placing a tent in the country club terrace and placing the majority of the lower table arrangements in the tent area. We also placed several pieces of lounge furniture in the designated "smoking area". Petal Productions swagged the top of the tent with white organza and hung a dazzling chandelier. Intelligent lighting and great music kept the party of over 500 guests on their feet and celebrated Sari and Salo's wedding night to the wee hours of the morning.

Nicole and Jeremy Wedding

On December 21, 2008, Nicole and Jeremy said theirs vows underneath a one of a kind chupah at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa (http://www.miamibeachresortandspa.com/) This chupah was unique in every way shape in form. The reason you ask? It was extremely special because we were able to suspend the chupah from the ceiling. That's right, the ceiling. The soft white fabric top was decorated with cascading strands of crystals studded with fuchsia dendrobium orchid blooms and phalenopsis orchids. If a picture is worth a million words, then you can see why. Plamen from Domino Art Media Group was really able to capture the glory and uniqueness of the chupah through the lens of his camera.

The ballroom and the rest of the wedding flowed with the same atmosphere during the ceremony. For each table centerpiece, we alternated between hanging manzanita branches covered in matching flowers, and Petal Productions modern white vases spilling with phalenopsis orchids. The hot pink flowers really popped with the white and silver accents. We also design a special area that include a stage covered in white fabric, and long royal table. This area was draped elegantly with white fabric and up light with lights. We also hung chandeliers to make the area a bit more intimate.

Michelle and Morris Wedding

Michelle and Morris got married to perfect weather at the Diplomat Hotel Resort and Spa (http://www.diplomatresort.com/) on December 21, 2008. They were in excellent hands with Christina (the hotel director) and their day-of-coordinators Martina Comey and Linda Shafter from MandL Occasions (http://www.mandloccasions.com/).

Michelle and Morris kept the color theme in soft shades of white with just a hint of sage and silver accents. The elegance of the colors and this amazing couple really complemented each other. Michelle carried down the aisle a cascading bouquet of snow white peonies, white phalenopsis orchids, white tulips, white roses, and touches of white calla lilies.

Their chupah was that of a fairy tale taking place in a mystical garden. It was a classic round dome chupah draped with rolls and rolls of soft white fabric. Suspended in the center, we hung a brightly lit chandelier. We futher enhanced the chupah with three large floral clusters with cascading ivy. Because it was the first night of Hanukkah, Petal Productions created a custom menorah that was placed underneath the chupah. Up lights were placed for the extra final touch.

The ballroom was magnetic, and still kept in line with the elegance of the white flowers. Each table was dressed with a sage lamour linen with a Noxie overlay in silver. The floral arrangements included our crystal candelabras (yes the are very popular) with a large arrangements of white flowers. Around the base we placed glass vases that tied in the modern touch, for each vase included a single monochromatic arrangement of white flowers. Pin Spot lighting, Up lighting, and Intelligent lighting filled the room in warmth. Michelle, Morris and their guest boogied the night away to the tunes of Greg Denard (http://www.gregdenard.com/)

Heather and Justin Wedding

Heather and Justin were very well taken care of thanks to Martina Comey and Linda Shafter from MandL Occasions (http://www.mandloccasions.com/) as they were married at the Fairmont Turnberry Resort and Spa in Aventura, FL. (http://www.fairmont.com/turnberryisle/). First I must say, that Heathers dress was BEAUTIFUL and truly unique. So it only seemed fit for Petal Productions to create a bouquet as unique as her dress. And we did. Heather's bouquet consisted of a tight round ball of white roses with BLACK tips. (I told you it was unique!) Heather's brides maids also had unique bouquets that were red balls of matching flowers, with a candle strategically placed in the center of the bouquet. And last but not least, even the flower girls had unique written all over their "baskets". Heather's mom provided Petal Productions with black pocket books, and we completely covered the pocket books with red daisies, so that they would match the rest of the bridal party.

The chupah can only be described with one word...WOW. We took our acrylic chupah legs hung from the inside strands of crystals and red orchid droplets. The chupah top was our round dome structure with a halo of beautiful red flowers. We then create a unique chupah backdrop of red orchid leis, red orchid droplets and strands of crystals. The last but not final finishing touch (other than up lights) was the unique table placed inside the chupah. This include a custom made acrylic boxes table, with a box of red roses placed inside. This table just tied the entire look together, and really made the chupah. Again, one word...WOW.

The ballroom continued with the black, white and red theme. We got rid of the same old boring wooden dance floor, and replaced it with a solid black dance floor. The room setup was like nothing I have ever seen before. Two long royal table where placed in front of either sides of the dance floor. These table hosted a beautiful table scape of red floral arrangements in assorted glass vases. Hanging high above, Petal Productions hung black manzantia branches dripping with red orchids and other stunning red flowers. Then, Petal Productions grouped three round tables together to create one large "triplet table". In the center of the "triplet tables" we placed our one of a kind 5 armed tulip stand filled with large and full red floral arrangements. The remaining round tables received a beautiful floral arrangements of red flowers in a low 12" glass dish with black manzanita branches designed within the arrangement. And if you think the element of "unique" stopped there, think again! In front of the dance floor, Petal Productions place a lounge set of black leather furniture so that Heather, Justin and their friends and family could take a break from their dancing shoes and relax on the comfortable furniture, and yet never miss a beat of fun and entertainment.

If there was two words to sum up Heathers wedding, they would 100% without a doubt be (1) Unique (I've only mentioned that specific word half a dozen times) and (2) WOW.

Haleigh Bat-Mitzvah

This Bat-Mitzvah celebration was an amazing night!
Held at the West View Country Club in Miami FL (http://www.westviewcountryclub.com/) , this Broadway Themed party will be one to talk about for years to come.

Haleigh and her friends had their own V.I.P. room that included a custom lit dance floor of fuchsia, turquoise and gold lights. Assorted lounge furniture in those colors there placed around the room, and Corey from Rhythm City Productions kept Haleigh and her friends dancing the night away!

While Haleigh danced in her own V.I.P. room, her parents and their guest danced in the main ballroom where the floral arrangements were AMAZING. I really do believe that we out did ourselves for these floral arrangements. The tables were each dressed with a shimmering turquoise/gold pin tuck table cloth and alternated between a tall clarinet vase exploding with gold manzanita branches intertwined with stunning fuchsia phalenopsis orchids, roses, as well as other flowers in shades of fuchsia. The other tables include gold manzanita branches HANGING from the ceiling, also just dripping with BEAUTIFUL orchids and clusters of flowers.
We kept the Broadway theme by replacing the same old assigned table numbers and replaced them with custom made table signs with assorted Play Bills customized to reflect Haleigh's name.
There were so many other elements that went into making sure that this bat-mitzvah was a complete dream come true that if I blogged every detail, it would go on forever! Stephanie and Ilan Wedding

Stephanie and Ilan couldn't have better weather on their wedding day. No
joke, it was in the mid to lower 70's through out the day and not a cloud in the sky! Their wedding took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Key Biscayne (http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/KeyBiscayne/Default.htm)

Stephanie and Ilan, with the help of their wedding planner Sue Andron from An Affair to Remember, decided on keeping the wedding elegant with the white and soft green color theme. For Stephanie's bridal bouquet, she choose a bouquet of just white stephanotis studded with pearls and crystals (This bouquet might look familiar to many of you. Yes, Jessica Simpson had a similar bouquet when she married Nick Lachey)

Stephanie had a lot of new and different elements that were created for her picture perfect wedding. The chupah that we designed for Stephanie is probably one of my favorite chupahs. This chupah consisted of four iron legs completely covered in wire grass and accented with large white floral nosegays. The top is what really takes my breath away. Our designer are extremely talented, and this chupah goes to show their professionalism. They take the same wire grass, and create assorted loops and circles, and then attach those loops to the arch of the chupah. The top four corners are then decorated with a larger matching floral arrangements. I'm telling you, this chupah amazes me every single time we create it, just due to the fact that the Petal Productions design team is filled with amazing talent. To personalize Stephanie and Ilan's chupah, we suspended the talit in the center, and we also hung another talit in the front. We added a touch of hanging candles, that really put the finishing touch on the chupah.

Stephanie's vision of her ballroom was one of elegance and class, and that's exactly what we gave her. Each table centerpiece included our crystal candelabras with a full floral arrangements of white roses, white hydrangeas, white stock, green roses, green mini hydrangeas, and just a touch of white and green cymbidium orchids. Around the base we kept everything simple by placing three tall pillar candles with matching orchid blooms. The mechitzah was created with our patched spandex wall, where each section alternated with a piece of white spandex material, and three orchid droplets. This mechitzah I believe is truly and work of art, and again it's amazing how the productions team can create all of this with Raffi.

Ilana and Dovi Wedding

Ilana and Dovi were married on November 23, 2008 at the Weston Bonaventure (http://bonaventure.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp)

Ilana choose a variety of shades of purples for her color theme, but decided on white roses studded with crystals for her bridal bouquet. Her brides maids carried down the aisle fuchsia roses mixed with white stock. For her Badeken, Petal Productions created a backdrop of a wall of greens with purple and fuchsia flowers intertwined within the wall. The backdrop was really unbelievable and really made Ilana's badeken very special.

The chupah had to be the tallest chupah I have ever seen. The chupah consisted of our tall arch chupah covered in white fabric, with a front wall of purple flowers, and several large purple floral nosegays cascading with ivy down the chupah legs. Pink up lights really made the chupah pop, and down the aisle we alternated between trees like arches dripping with purple orchids and flowers, and long narrow acrylic boxes filled with matching flowers. I must say, that this is one of my favorite aisle treatments. It is amazing in every color, and there is just something so romantic about the trees, that it matches every chupah.

Ilana and Dovi's ballroom was truly spectacular. The tables alternated between round tables and royal tables. What made this room had to be the custom arrangements that we had designed for the royal tables. This arrangement consisted of two glass vases filled with purple flowers, with two strong acrylic poles coming out, and connecting them a long floral hedge of purple flowers suspending in the center. We combined the table ensemble together be hanging brightly lit candles from the suspended flowers, and along the base we placed cylinder vases filled with water and submerged purple rose petals and a floating candle. This was truly an amazing arrangement.

Kate and Jacob Wedding

Kate and Jacob's wedding could not have been any more romantic with a touch of fall. They said their vows at the Biltmore Hotel (http://www.biltmorehotel.com/) and their ceremony took place outside with the Biltmore Golf Course setting behind them. And I must say that this chupah took my breath away. I've seen plently of willow styled chupah, but this particular chupah was really breath taking, and thanks to the wonderful talent of Mike Myers Photography, you can see why.

Kate really seemed to love the dark fall tones of burgandy, burnt orange and rusty reds. For a wedding in November, with the tempertures at 70 degrees, it could not have been more perfect. We added a special touch to her chupah by adding ghost wood, and it really was the perfect touch. Our design team then decorated the chupah with the fall toned orchids and roses, really intertwing them into the branch to look natural, rather then bunched up and tight. We also took the family talit and suspended in the center of the chupah. Amber up lights was all that was left, and Mazel-Tov!

Johanna and Rami

Johanna and Rami had a dream like white wedding smack in the middle of Florida's summer heat that took place at the Intercontinental Hotel (http://www.icmiamihotel.com/) If you didn't know that it was August, you would have believed that this wedding was winter wedding.

Johanna looked amazing in her princess like dress. Petal Production designers created a bouquet that surely matched the fairy tale look. It was a bouquet in loomy that include white roses, white dendrobium orchid, white calla lilies, and just a touch of white phalenopsis orchids. We created the bouquet to cascade just a little bit, so it wouldn't take away the attention of the detail of her wedding gown.

Their ceremony was just amazing. We took the smaller ballroom at the hotel, and literally placed a tent inside. Amber lighting made the tent glow in a romantic hue. The chupah...well that was really truly remarkable. We took two other chupah designs and created one chupah. The legs were a combination of white boxes and orchids leis, with the chupah top being our classic fabric top with a halo of white flowers. Hanging inside the chupah, the design team created a small "chandelier" that include strands of crystals studded with orchid blooms and orchid leis. It really was amazing, and being able to watch it myself, it really still amazes.

The ballroom was spectacular! Now, we've seen a lot of ballrooms here are Petal Productions, but this room was really amazing. For starters, the tables alternated between round tables and royal tables. Each table had the similar theme of flowers, which include our assorted clarinet vases exploding with an arrangements of white dendrobium orchids, white hydrangeas, white roses, and white manzanita branches. Each vase had a submerged matching stem of white orchids, and was cascading in strands of crystals. Around the base, we kept it simple, but placed an assortment of glass vases filled with white stock, white roses, and looped white calla lilies. Of course, the finishing touch...clusters of brightly lit candles. Now, for my favorite part: The lounge set in front of the love table. Don't ask me why, but I ABSOLUTELY love this idea. The entire night, if Johanna and Rami wanted to sit and relax (and maybe even eat a little bit!) their guest didn't have to stand around and wait for them. They could sit, relax and if they needed a refill they only had to take 3 steps. We placed a custom made bar just behind the love table so Rami and Johanna wouldn't miss out on any fun and vice-versa.

Danielle and Peter Wedding

Danielle and Peter had a dream wedding thanks to the creative ideas of both the bride and groom and Danielle's mom, Shelia.

Their wedding took place at the Biltmore Hotel (http://www.biltmorehotel.com/) and it was like a magical fairy tale. To start, Danielle's bridal bouquet was a slice of heaven. It was a hand tied bouquet of pink peonies, green hydrangeas and white phalenopsis orchids. It truly was such a stunning bouquet, that I told myself should I get married, I want my bouquet to look EXACTLY like this one.

The ceremony took place in the Alhambra Ballroom and it was truly magical. The chupah consisted of our round structure completely covered in assorted greens and soft pink and ivory flowers. Amber up lights really did the trick to illuminate this chupah in a soft romantic glow. Down the aisle we kept the elegant feel by using our classic candelabras each topped with a full arrangement of pink peonies, antique green hydrangeas and esperance roses. Instead of using regular white wax candles, we ordered custom made candles that were rose scented. This special touch enveloped the room in such a beautiful scent and really set the elegant and romantic theme for the wedding. The last and final touch we did for the ceremony was creatively drape the back wall and create a grand entrance for Danielle, Peter and their bridal party.

Cocktail hour was held in the Granada Ballroom and was a real treat. Shelia had ordered a fresh seafood station that was devoured in seconds. Petal Productions designers designed all the floral decor on site, and like the ceremony, we used rose scented candles.

The reception dinner took place in the Country Club Ballroom, and to this day I still believe it was the prettiest that ballroom has ever looked. The tables alternated between round and royal tables, each dressed with a willow green fortuny crush underlay and the Dori Daisy overlay's in ivory. Each table centerpiece included our brand new crystal candelabra and was topped with the most beautiful floral arrangement I have ever seen. These arrangements included soft pink peonies, green antique hydrangeas, pink roses, pink esperance roses, and hanging green amaranths. Around the base we had matching crystal vases filled with a bouquet of matching flowers. Gold chavari chairs with a matching willow pad and sash surrounded each table. And as a finishing touch, we placed French styled opened esperance roses behind each chair and on each napkin. Intelligent lighting illuminated the room for the finishing touch.
Danielle and Peter danced the night away with friends and family to the steady beat of the Limbedo Band.
